Carolyn Kae McKenna

Carolyn Kae Helquist McKenna age 70 of West Jordan UT, beloved wife, mother, grandmother,

great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on August 31,2026 while doing something she truly loved- spending time surrounded by the beauty of nature at the family cabin.

Carolyn was born on November 5,1955 in Murray UT. She built a life centered on love, family, faith, and the people she held dear.

She was the beloved wife of Royal McKenna, they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on August 8,1975 beginning a loving family that would continue to grow through the generations.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Royal McKenna; her Children, Eric (Liz) McKenna,Neil (Gloria) McKenna, and Wendy Klunker; 14 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Lisa Marie McKenna; her parents Elman and Marva Helquist; her brother Bart Helquist; and many other loved ones who surely welcomed her home.

Carolyn’s love for her family was evident throughout her life. She treasured the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and created memories that will continue to live on in their hearts.

She has a special love for nature and found peace and happiness in its beauty. It seems fitting that she spent her final moments doing something she loved

Carolyn will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory, her love, and the many moments she shared with her family will remain forever in their hearts.

Funeral services will be Thursday September 10, 2026 at 10:00am 

Held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. 2666 w 7000 s West Jordan UT

Graveside services will be at Memorial Redwood Mortuary & Cemetery 6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT 84084 at 11:30am
