Curt Lee Cheeseman

Curt Lee Cheeseman, 57 Passed away September 21, 2026, in Sandy, UT. Curt was born on October 3, 1968, to Craig Allen Cheeseman and Cynthia Kay Bartel. Curt married Carrie Cuppcho and later divorced.

Curt was a skilled heavy equipment mechanic and worked as a lift maintenance mechanic at Brighton, Park City, and Deer Valley ski resorts, where he made many lifelong friends that became family. Outside of work, he loved anything outside in nature: Camping, caving, rock climbing, ice climbing, skiing, snowboarding, backpacking, mountain biking, dirt biking, fishing, ice fishing, traveling...

Curt is survived by his daughter, Savannah Davenport; mother and stepfather, Cynthia and Douglas Sinclair; siblings, Heather Cheeseman, Shelby (Shannon) Sinclair, Drew Sinclair, Christopher Mees, Tera (Loren) Pederson, Troy Sinclair, Trent (Julie) Sinclair; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Curt was preceded in death by grandparents Yvonne Jungemann, Wifred Bartel, and Norelle Bartel; Robert and Phyllis Cheeseman; and father Craig Cheeseman

The funeral service will be Saturday, October 10th, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church and School, 1815 East 9800 South, Sandy, UT 84092.
