Born July 28th, 1959, was called to his home in Heaven on June 21st, 2026. He was 66 years young. He was born in Salt Lake City, UT to Justina & Guadalupe Vasquez. He was the oldest boy of 10 kids. He was Francisco to the public, Frank to his friends & coworkers, Pancho to his family.
He loves his movies, music, Duck Dynasty and wrestling. People who knew him knew they could call him with a misheard lyric or a quote with a synopsis from a movie & more than likely, he could tell you who said it or sang it and where it’s from. If you spent any time with him at his place, you know he’d have the tv on, usually tuned to a wrestling event (usually WWE) while he had his music on. He didn’t care. He would blast Chente or Los Tigres del Norte in the mornings and usually would end the night with one of his favorite rock bands like Styx or watching Duck Dynasty. He graduated from Salt Lake Community College with a degree in Carpentry, and retired in 2022 from Salt Lake City School District. He enjoyed taking walks with his wife once he regained his strength from his bout with COVID.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years & the love of his life, Grace (Montoya) (he loves you forever and ever, amen), daughters Alicia (Chris) Vasquez-Hardman & Jessi Vasquez (his pongolines), siblings Guadalupe Vasquez, Juanita Vasquez, Greg Vasquez, Leonor (Alex) Yei, Josephine (Frank) Carrillo, Eva (Trent) Hibbard, grand-cat DiNozzo & many nieces and nephews (he loves all of you dearly).
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Maria, brothers Julian, & Carlos.
Services for Francisco are being planned and will be announced at a later date.
