Martin Chaffin Jr. passed away on October 21, 2026, in St. George, Utah, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on August 23, 1948, in Huntington, West Virginia, to Alene Ferguson and Martin B. Chaffin Sr.

Martin worked at Morton Salt in Fairport Harbor, Ohio, throughout his working years.

He is survived by his two sisters, Brenda Sisson and Sherry Chaffin; his three sons, Martin Chaffin III (Haley), Frank Alex Dudas (Jen), and Pasquale Nick Dudas; and his five grandchildren, Natalie Chaffin, Brinley Chaffin, Luke Chaffin, Jager Dudas, and Jameson Dudas.

Martin will be remembered by his family and loved ones, who will cherish his memory and the time they shared with him.
