Obituary

Steven Edwin Wall, age 68, passed away on June 21, 2026, at his home in St George, Utah.

Steve was born on February 23, 1958 to Edwin "Ted" Wall and Joanne Davis. He served in the Caracas, Venezuela Mission from 1977-1979. He then married Julie Bliss in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity in 1980. Together they have six children.

He served in the US Airforce and in many callings for his church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, including as a teacher, a scout master, a stake auditor and a ward clerk.

While Steve had many jobs over the years, the one he loved and valued most was teaching. He taught science for 23 years at both North Cache and South Cache before Parkinson's disease led to an early retirement. He had a gift for creative, memorable lessons. His love of science and his care for his students shaped each lesson he taught.

He had a firm testimony of the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ through the prophet Joseph Smith. He believed in Jesus Christ as the light and life of the world and as his individual Savior. Steve will be remembered for his love for those he taught, his love for his family, his curiosity, ingenuity, creativity, and humor.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his siblings: Kris (Dave), Dave (Amber), and Nikki (Andrew); his wife, Julie, children: Dan (Hannah), Ben (Olga), Levi (Camas), Elijah (Kendra), Joe, Ariel, and 12 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 245 Apple Drive, Hyrum, Utah, at 11 AM on July 25, 2026.
